David. . .Thank you! . . . I needed this. It is a beautiful image of strength, courage and the assurance of righteous valor. A Prince who knows he fights for the kingdom and his King and will not falter until the enemy is defeated. As an artist, I do not purchase other artist's paintings very often unless I see something that awakens within me the better me. This is such a painting and when and if I can afford to, I will purchase it for my studio. It is my favorite on FAA. I have worked in Photoshop for many years and know that you worked some long hours to create this. I am deeply moved and impressed! .

Today I finished a painting because I like the way you used the pink in this study.Zinc white would have been ok but the pink raises the depth of the painting and adds that little extra that creates a great painting. I hope to put the first photo of my study on the net today. Look forward to seeing more of your work. Neil.

This is beautiful.
Posted on 10/22/2009 at 03:11 PM
Beautiful. I see a bit of Cezanne yet it has a contemporary twist. Best wishes, Keith.
Posted on 10/22/2009 at 03:21 PM
Yes, it certainly looks a bit like Cezanne, and just as beautiful. A piece of contemporary classic. People need to have style and education and inner peace to appreciate paintings like this. But today few people have those qualities and most of the people are driven by the worldly stuff and they are too empty in their heads. .

To me this painting tells us that no matter the circumstance, we cannot stop time. There’s only the dash between our date of birth and date of death that has meaning and proves our integrity. Excellent painting.
