Hi, Ann, I was at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC today , and came home energized with new ideas about being a bolder painter. And, lo and behold,,,,the boldest of all sends me a note! Thanks so much. Today, I read that Matisse had decided to "make black a color of light, not of darkness". You've done it in this pic.

Dear George, Thx for recent comments on phot of Jose Silva and me. I love this "Around the Piano Bar" image. YOUR imagination creates music with images. Someday I will find out how to do this, I hope. BTW, I used to play piano for banquets and was even paid for it. I did that as an extra little job while I was still engaged in full-time work teaching school during the day. However, I did not play for bars.

Ths is stunning - the eyes, the manner in which you "left" out things...nicely executed...I used to have a couple of greyhounds (both in dog heaven now) - Michelle and Bingo - Michelle, a Fawn and Bingo, dalmation colored and huge..he raced for 4 years - that is a lot, and he used to play body slam against our sofa in the family room to the point that he broke the leg off. Just asking for a back scratch. And, Michelle, always spread eagel on her back on the sofa...you have to love dogs to let them do these things. Thanks for the compliment on the sire... :).
