As an artist, Marilyn provides award winning fine art photography to homes, businesses and stock agencies. She enjoys photographing intriguing American and Italian landscapes as well as beautiful floral and plant images.
Marilyn's work has been featured in fine art shows and in art and instructional books. Awards include Honorable Mention (monetary award) from the Texas Photographic Society International Competition, Adobe Digital Imaging Competition, Center for Fine art Photography in Fort Collins and America Juried Art Salon. Publications carrying her photos include The Photo Review Journal, Cannon's Best of Photography and Photos That Inspire by Lynn Eodice.
She earned a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the University of Texas, LBJ School of Public Affairs and worked many years for non-profit entities. Marilyn has been a life-long volunteer for her favorite non-profits. She particularly enjoys working with her children's classes and teaching high-school art students how to hand color photographs. Her company, Marilyn Hunt Photos also provides exceptional quality photo restoration and retouch services.
