Terril Heilman - Fine Artist
I am dedicating this site to a signature type of my photography - abstract photos of light, color, and reflections from water. My work is best described as 'impressionistic photography', but it also has elements of 'abstract expressionism', as well as elements of 'fantasy'.
Starting on January 1st, 2010, 100% of my commissions on sales from FAA will be donated (by me) to homeless and disabled American veterans for one full year. Despite all the hoopla given to high levels of ptsd and suicides among veterans in the media, very little is actually being done for our homeless and disabled American veterans by the military or by the VA. As a disabled American veteran myself, this is the least I can do for my fellow veterans. If you are not ready to buy something from my gallery, please push the 'I like it' button and right a short review about my artwork. Thank you.

A little something about myself: I grew up between Minnesota and the Black Hills of South Dakota. The son of an electrician, I was among the first in our family to go on to college. I became a professional Conservationist with the US Department Of Agriculture and spent thirty years trying to help farmers and ranchers manage their resources wisely. I am now retired, and the greatest joy in my life in still getting out into nature and appreciating the beauty and wonder all around me.
You can find some of my work printed on beautifully designed usabe, wearable art products at: www.zazzle.com/phd_pheasant.
